"Many teenagers choose to participate in high school athletics. As an athletic trainer, it is my responsibility to provide these athletes with a high standard of care through the prevention, recognition, management, and rehabilitation of sports related injuries. My personal goal is to ensure that my athletes are able to participate safely, as well as enable them to excel in their given sport. For an athletic trainer the outcome of the game does not matter; the athletes are what matter."
