OSTI's Occupational Medicine Division Continues to Grow into Second Quarter

Today, our Occupational Medicine Division announced the expansion of business to include work for Bag Makers.  Located in Union, Illinois, the locally owned and operated business is the leading imprinted bag supplier, specializing in non-woven polypropylene, paper, plastic and polyester bags.

OSTI’s Occupational Medicine team has already begun implementing work injury prevention services that include ergonomic analysis, job description creation, on-site job coaching and wellness programs.

Bag Makers is not the only company that has recently chosen OSTI as its occupational medicine partner.  Earlier this year, we announced that Piston Group the Redford, Michigan based company that expanded to Belvidere, contracted OSTI to implement work injury prevention programs on-site.

Randy Wright, MS, ATC/ L“Employers like our hands-on approach.  Our goal through the programs and services we provide is to prevent injuries before they occur, which is a win-win for both the company and employee. Employees have access to an occupational health professional to discuss job related discomfort, which benefits the company through reductions in recordable injuries and related costs,” says Randy Wright, MS, ATC/L OSTI’s Director of Occupational Medicine.

For nearly two decades, OSTI's Occupational Medicine Division has been providing injury preventions programs to companies throughout the Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin region.  OSTI is successful in helping its company clients achieve reductions in workplace injuries and associated costs.  Working directly with each company, OSTI tailors work injury prevention programs to meet the specific needs of its company clients.
